    Not that easy to …
Not that easy to start pot, because we’re all already addicted to ciggaretes. Think rationally.

    I’m not a pill guy, …
I’m not a pill guy, like I said, I don’t smoke and rarely drink. And by “cured” I don’t mean in a popping pills to cover up the ill effects ‘cure’.

I mean that our understanding of how smoking does what it does and why some people are affected and some aren’t. Then taking that and applying it to all smokers to prevent or at least nullify the dangers.

Or… there is an alternative. Lets all smoke pot. The dangers just aren’t there. Getting sick from smoking pot too much? Just stop. no addiction

    people are going to …
people are going to use drugs, people are going to smoke. It’s proven to be instinctual.

I don’t smoke, but I think no one should be told not to. Sure, explain the risks, but for gods sake please refrain from fearmongering like this.

The whole passive smoking thing is not proven at all, a quick google search shows there is contention, and as for amputation, a tiny number of people will ever need that.

Liver damage and Gangrene should be cureable in the next 20 years.

    yes, but its not …
yes, but its not impossible to make it less toxic. And while nicotine is addictive, it does have some good properties like the calming effects.

There are plenty of smokers who live well past the average life span, and once we have a cure for lung cancer I wonder what will happen to cigerette sales.

    Most people who …
Most people who smoke say they don’t really care if they die sometime in the future, because “You have to die from something.” This ad works because it attacks that selfishness. If you don’t care about harming yourself when you smoke, why not think of others who will miss you? QUIT NOW>

Every time I see this advertisement I cry so much! If this doesn’t trigger a sensitive spot in a smoker then I have no idea what would. I quit smoking 14 months ago and have never looked back!!
