.gmonte33 had it right.. ZYBAN! I tried to give up smoking way too many times; always failing, I tried patches, Gum and even that Chantix.. Nothing worked like Zyban. I went to RemedyMeds.Com . They have all of your prescription drugs available 24/7. you do not even need a prior prescription. they have US licensed doctors evaluate and write you a prescription, they then have a US licensed Pharmacy ship them to you OVERNIGHT via FedEx delivery. good luck.. Zyban worked wonders for me!

Chew gum when you get a craving and try to keep yourself busy at all times. If you get a nic fit go and do something that will keep your mind off of it. Also try and be around people that don't smoke if at all possible.

You probably hear this from everyone but, try not to think about it lol , or when you get the feeling to smoke do something to distract your self and not think about it, or just reduce the number of ciggarettes you smoke each day …not much but i hope it helps Good luck !!

Yeah stop putting one in your mouth. Get some will power. If you truly want to stop you will. If not you will be back smoking in a month.

you have to get your mind off of the habit which is really hard. you should also go out for a walk without taking your cigars.try doing things that keep you busy physically and mentally.

I don't smoke but you could chew that nicotine gum,or make a bet with somebody you see alot of times during the week and tell them that if they ever catch you smoking you'll give them let's say 3 bucks and see how that works.

it's a psychological thing. if you were to stop smoking your body would feel deprived of the substance. thus you would experience rebellion within your body.

i found that if you could consciously cut back. it would be easier if you had a reason. like i was in the midst of less fortunate people and every time i had a smoke six other people got treated as well. do you know how much money that can get into? so i stopped smoking in front of them…..i cut back. once your body is acustomed to the new condition you eventually won't even crave them.

You could try patches or gum and slowly wean off the nicotine. Zyban (Wellbutrin) helped me immensely with the withdrawal symptoms. If I quit cold turkey I would have severe withdrawal symptoms for several days. But with the Zyban, I set my quit date for two weeks after I started taking it (it has to build up in your system). The first day without cigs I had only mild withdrawal symptoms. The second day, nothing. It was amazing. But if you quit you have to have willpower to stay a non-smoker. If you quit NEVER take another puff off a cigarette. It's very easy to start again. Also, if decide to try the Zyban and if you have a problem with alcohol dependence make sure you tell your doctor this. It shouldn't be mixed with alcohol and if you're dependent and quit drinking while taking the meds this could raise the risk of having a seizure.

    Hi,
I really empathise with you, I quit my 20 a day habit in a pain-free way this time last year!
No stress, no cravings, no weight gain, no pills, patches or gums.
The program I followed was recommended by a friend and now boasts a 90% success rate and is 100% fully guaranteed - can't say fairer than that

    All the best..
