No, but they have a new thing where the doctor puts a staple in your ear and you stop smoking…sounds crazy but two of my friends did it and they no longer smoke, said the staple made the cigarettes taste awful…look into that, I'll try anything so I'm gonna do it..one ear is for loosing weight and the other ear for not smoking…

Yah, I heard about that. It's a lazar that they use on your ear. They say that it doesn't hurt, and it's not that expensive. I have no idea how it works, but hey, if it doesn't hurt, everyone that smokes should do it :)

Yes, My boyfriend and I used it and we haven't smoked for one month, 7 days tomorrow. We paid $295.00 each for two sessions. You have to have your mind set to quit its not a miracle worker. You will still crave cigarettes but you have to fight the cravings. The laser therapy helps mainly with your withdraw and moodiness symptoms. I wouldn't have been able to quit without it.

It's another version of acupuncture, using the the so called energy meridians of the body. Nobody has ever been able to independently produce success results of testing using acupuncture, accupressure, emotional tapping, laser therapy etc, but some people swear by these methods.
It could be mind over matter, in other words, if someone really wants or believes in something, it will work. Deciding to actually do something, often means you are 80% on your way to success - especially if you pay a lot for it!

These are commercial ventures, so you would need to find alternative therapy businesses in your area. Doctors don't go into alternative therapies, they are only interested in giving you drugs.

Yes, but it didn't work because I wasn't mentally ready to quit. Try reading Alan Carr's book "The Easy Way to Stop Smoking".
