Best way to quit smoking and heavy drinking?

Every day I have the craving to smoke and end up smoking upto 10 cigarettes a day
Also, I drink 4 times a week sometimes 5. What can I do to reduce this craving? I want a healthy lifestyle
IMO probably from what I’ve heard, what’s worked for me, etc…
Drink some water when you feel a craving to smoke, try to replace the need for a smoke with the need for some water…
Don’t try to not think about smoking, just occupy your mind with something completely different.
Don’t hang around smokers, at least for the first few months. Same with drinking I guess.
Start working out and eating healthy, keeping fresh breath. Smoking and drinking just seem awful when you’re feeling great and fresh.
